What does this look like, and why does it feel so distant? It's as if the power-elite dinosaurs running America look down on "kids these days", still a synonym for millennials, even as some near 40 years old... and have nothing to offer besides a shoulder shrug and a "work harder", as if offering young people any scraps of a better life (affordable higher education, healthcare, etc.) would be giving in to the demands of a bunch of whiny kids. Fewer and fewer people are becoming able to achieve their American Dream, but I guess that's not the metric of success in the USA.
